Our service extends to the entire handling of new constructions, conversions or extensions of process engineering plants. LMB Lorentz Mühlenbau GmbH delivers turnkey plants. We advise you in the concept phase, design the plant according to your wishes, purchase and install the machines and then provide you with advice and support. Of course, LMB Lorentz Mühlenbau GmbH also supplies spare parts and individual machines for your existing plants.
Milling technology from Wathlingen – company history
The company LMB Lorentz Mühlenbau GmbH was founded in 1974 by mill engineer Klaus Lorentz as an engineering office in Destedt near Braunschweig. Three years later, we moved to Braunschweig. In 1982, the company was transformed into LMB Lorentz Mühlenbau GmbH.
After the death of Klaus Lorentz in 1987, his wife Ingrid Lorentz continued to run the company. Inga Weimar-Lorentz and Ulrich Weimar have been working for the company since 1997. Since 2003 Inga Weimar-Lorentz has been managing director of the company. The takeover of Pohland Anlagenbau GmbH on January 1 2004, brought the first change under Inga Weimar-Lorentz.
In autumn 2009, Lorentz Mühlenbau moved to Wathlingen. The company Pohland Anlagenbau GmbH followed in early 2010.
